Tasty X Castello: Dining In The Dark Experience
Event Production & Brand Activation
BuzzFeed & Tasty Oz engaged me to produce a brand activation for their client Castello Cheese.
The event was to promote their new selection of soft cheeses and introduce innovative ways to create with Castello Cheese.
Pitching a few different ideas, we locked in an immersive sensory experience with a unique take on Dining in the Dark.
The activation invited a mix of food influencers and competition winners to particpate in the dining experience.
Blindfolded in a moody lit venue, the event pushes patrons to use all senses except sight - while eating and drinking a curated menu centred around the Castello brand.

As the lead creative and activation producer, I was a bit of a one-man show, designing the experience and coordinating the logistics to ensure a smooth and successful event for the client, Val Morgan | BuzzFeed.
This required me to:
The feedback from the client was extremely positive, patrons were very impressed with the event and we were able to generate a lot of organic content across all social platforms for Castello.
This required me to:
- Work with the resident chef, creating an impressive and delicious 3-course menu with bespoke cocktails.
- Flex my graphic design skills to create the look and feel of the event and the tangible assets to be used onsite.
- Build and style the entrance photo-op for clients and guests to commemorate the experience.
- And, of course, produce the event and run logistics on the night.
