Blackhawk entrusted us to execute their annual BHN Summit for a second consecutive year. The goal was to further elevate their conference across F&B, production & registration, creating a more innovative and dynamic environment where delegates could connect at every touchpoint. 

A key aspect of the conference was facilitating 1:1 partner meetings within the conference space over the two days. Previously the management of the 1:1 meetings had been arduous and heavily manual hence in 2024, the program was moved online and delivered via an interactive event app. Moreover, the production delivery was executed with enhanced creative input, elevating the awards experience overall. 

Additionally, the environment provided a relaxed, light-filled setting for all food, beverage, and networking opportunities. Our approach ensured the conference was well-regarded and engaging, allowing our clients to focus on their valued partners and guests.

Immutacon is a 5-day annual company conference that brings all global teams at Immutable for a closing cycle celebration and opening cycle enegiser.

Celebrating internal awards, collaborating within their build streams and hosting collaborators for bespoke workshops.

The theme for this year was mystical alchemy, so we chose to host the event in a blank industrial space and build the space with custom AV, furniture and lighting design.

The conference featured 8 breakout spaces across 3 venues along with a week’s long schedule of social events. We organised several dinners, networking drinks and a company scavenger hunt across Sydney’s harbour.

In Traffic Appreciation Day is a first-time, one-off event for the company In Traffic to celebrate 5 years of successful business with their team, loyal partners, and customers.

Held at Sydney Dragway, attendees could enter a Roll Racing event on the track managed by Sydney Dragway and enjoy the festival site.

This area included a Show + Shine competition of best ‘supped-up’ cars, a stage with the group ROCKHOUSE playing, food trucks, and a fun zone for kids with arcade games, Superhero actors, dodgem cars and a mechanical bull ride!

Working with the agency Inspired Events, I designed and built a custom app inside the Events AIr platform. This included custom artwork and icons.

Additionally, I pitched and created an interactive custom map, specifically designed to instruct attendees with directions to their final conference dinner.

Embedding this map into the app for ease of use and smooth functionaility.

Working as AP on this project alongside Dean Worland and DRAW Productions. I offered my services for onsite logistics of the grand feast for Christmas Day.

Wayside Chapel is a long-standing pillar in the Darlinghurst community for displaced persons and those who may not have access to basic needs or a sense of family.

This event is the pinnacle of their core values - inviting anyone who may not have anywhere to be on Christmas day to come and join the family to feast on a grand lunch and have a dance outside the Wayside Chapel HQ.

The project while small in size is quite a feat - as we close down the entire street to erect a large marquee able to feed 700 people. The site includes multiple activity stations and a stage where the local community provides a wide variety of entertainment. All of which is completely bumped out by 5 PM returning the street to normal access.

Tasty X Castello: Dining In The Dark Experience

Working with BuzzFeed Digital & Tasty Oz, we created a bespoke immersive dining experience for the client Castello Cheese.

The activation invited a mix of food influencers and competition winners to take part in the dining experience using all senses - except sight. Blindfolded in a darkened venue allowing taste, smell and touch to guide them through a guided food sensation.

As the creative producer of this project, I worked with the team at Val Morgan / Buzzfeed, to curate this experience in every way.

This included:

  • Working with our chef to create a specific menu encompassing key cheeses from the host brand.

  • Flexing my graphic design skills to create the branded menu, eyemasks and signage.

  • Styling and building the entrance photo-op for clients and guests to commemorate the experience.

  • And, of course, producing the event and running logistics on the night.

Activation

40 Influencers and Food Critics

Working with Fever Up & Alive Agency in partnership with Warner Bros, I led this project as the creative producer for Alive Agency.

The Yule Ball is an immersive theatre experience, based on the Harry Potter film franchise. The event transports the audience into the Wizarding World, where they can watch a show, eat and drink themed food and purchase exclusive merchandise to expand their experience at the ball.

The show has been produced in various countries and cities including Montreal, Houston, Milan and now Sydney. In each city, the local team are given a structured brief to assimilate into a show suitable for the city.

As the creative producer, my role was to work with the key global creators of the show structure to build this show for the Australian audience. This included:

  • Designing and styling the space with a mix of provided set pieces and additionally sourced pieces

  • Hiring, briefing and managing directors, choreographers, LX, SFX and stage management team

  • Casting, assistant directing and managing the theatre show from end to end

  • Building the lighting design, working stage cues and sound cues into the show as best suited for the venue

  • Managing, authorising and assisting in the design of costumes for each character in the show

As the show opened and entered its 10-week run, my role transformed into:

  • Leading the show on behalf of Fever, Alive and WB

  • Managing any maintenance, troubleshooting issues and overseeing the FOH teams during the show run

  • Managing all cast and crew during the show run

  • Ensuring all show reporting is submitted by the various suppliers and team’s onsite

Queensland Holocaust Museum

Queensland has recently seen an unfortunate uptick in anti-Semitic activity over the past few years and is one of the only states that did not have an official memorial dedicated to telling the story of the Holocaust.

The Queensland Holocaust and Education Board partnered with Alive agency to build a three-staged project to educate the population in Queensland.

As the lead creative producer for this project, I worked with various suppliers, creative teams and, of course, the board to build the flow and curate the way we chose to tell this story.

This included logistics of each build, strategic design of each space and layout down to the finite details of the image chosen, copy layout, lighting, immersive feel and styling of each space.

This project has been truly one of the most humbling and expansive projects to create, I will be forever grateful to have produced this memorial.

The Holocaust Virtual Museum

In a world first, we worked with an amazing team of developers to build an online virtual experience that immerses the user in Europe as these events were unfolding.

Users can navigate the space as they wish, following the progression of events that led to the Holocaust. Working in three stages, Pre-War, During & Post-War, you can learn about life prior to the Holocaust, and Jewish culture before the Nazi regime came to the forefront.

Following the story through real-life images and videos, hosted in a virtual environment that replicates the stories being told. The virtual landscape is designed to allow the user to choose what they interact with and which stories to hear.

The second stage was to bring that immersive look and feel off the screen and into real, physical space.

We wanted to honour those who lived, survived and unfortunately perished during the Holocaust whilst keeping the audience engaged and the experience unique and deeply moving.

As the creative producer, I worked with our team to build the content design and immersive experiences into a cohesive journey that transports the audience to that time and space.

The project incorporates a range of immersive technology as well as unique tangible builds. As you move through the museum you will experience:

  • Three different audio-visual installations

  • Walk through recreations of moments in history

  • Experience personal stories in VR

  • See a snapshot of the online museum using AR technology

  • Hear from those who did not survive the Holocaust, with the implementation of AI video imaging

  • And sit with those who have passed in a memorial space that speaks to the Queensland Jewish population

A Mobile Education Solution

The third and final stage of this project speaks to the education of the younger generation as well as anyone who is unable to experience the physical space in Brisbane.

Taking the key themes and immersive approach from the previous two projects, our team built a mobile version of the museum that can travel to remote locations and educate audiences on the Holocaust.

The travelling museum is completely collapsable and transportable, it can be easily resurrected with only access to power required.

Inside the museum, the audience will be able to experience a similarly immersive experience and move freely through the space to discover stories in their own way.

The space utilises dynamic lighting, various screens and touchpads to extend learning beyond the walls of the museum.

Working with the agency Thinksmart Marketing, we facilitated the successful design and deployment of a campaign promoting their API tool. The client, Boomi, provided a suite of global assets that required retargeting to the ANZ market.

We created a content strategy that included mapping out key touchpoints, pitching new hero assets to lead the campaign as well as designing and curating a completely new micro-site. The campaign included a series of ad campaigns and email campaigns to promote the refresh to current and dormant leads.

The hero asset we created for this campaign was an animated short, that helped to simplify the benefits of this tool whilst also highlighting the key points of difference.

In an effort to re-invigorate dormant leads and revitalise the pipeline, Boomi engaged us to design a new campaign flow for a second tool on their platform.

This campaign’s main focus was to wake-up dormant leads and re-engage them in new and updated content for this specific marketing stream. We worked with the team to create an automated workflow using click-based triggers to deploy various campaign assets based on consumer behaviour.

Working with MLC, in partnership with GPJ Events Agency, our team produced this conference end-to-end. Registration was, of course, included in this production schedule and my team executed this flawlessly. The event was part-incentive, part-conference, taking attendees to Cairns, QLD.

The build was completely custom with a branded wrap across the event website, comms and attendee app. With registration logic to manage accommodation type, flight connections and ground transfers. Engagement was a high priority for this multi-day event with daily push notifications and automation reminding attendees of the schedule.

The three-day event include a full social schedule as well as day and a half conference, our team produced the entire event including a remote gala dinner that was placed on a rural cane farm and included an iconic cane burn activation. The gala dinner infrastructure was built from scratch including a stage, multiple bars and lighting.

Partnering with GPJ San Francisco, our Sydney team worked on the annual OpenWorld conference that took place across the city of San Francisco, localised in the Moscone Centre.

The event had activations all over the city, including yoga on the field of Oracle Park, Puppy adoption and mental health check-ins on the exhibition floor as well as an attendee-only concert at Chase Stadium.

Onsite, we worked with Rainfocus to process 23,000 registrations across multiple locations across the numerous Moscone buildings.

This global summit series produced by AWS took place in both Sydney and Singapore. Working with the Jomablue platform, we built complex registration logic that partnered with an onsite attendee app to assist attendees in navigating the agenda on the day.

Working on a brief that was focused on data capture and insight, our goal was to seamlessly manage registration to the event as well as key touchpoints across multiple locations. We implemented session check-in, exhibition data mapping as well as data downloads of both session content and sponsorship packages. We also built a custom system to assist AWS in managing swag entitlements based on registration type.

Working with Oracle, my team produced a bespoke engagement and registration build for their Modern Cloud Day Event. This was a culminating event that combined seven smaller event streams into one multi-track and multi-stream event.

Our build included a custom event website, with a complete brand wrap and specific registration logic that allowed Oracle to track specific attendees and tag them based on the marketing stream they originated from and how they planned their agenda on the day. We then integrated with Oracle’s CRM to deploy event communications to existing databases whilst also providing an event marketing campaign to garner net-new leads.

In partnership with the above, we deployed a completely custom event app that allowed attendees to alter their chosen agenda for the day as well as communicate with each other and sponsors.

On the day, we managed all registration, session tracking and sponsorship.

NAB produces an annual incentive program that runs in Australia and takes the top performers internationally on a three-day social activity program and celebration.

Along with live production, our team worked with NAB to build and manage a completely custom-branded website and attendee-facing app for attendees to plan their activities and register for social engagements throughout the event. We mapped out specific registration logic that allowed attendees to build their agenda based on their interests and also connect with like-minded people from across the organisation.

Onsite our team worked with NAB to manage multiple activations across numerous locations whilst also deploying engagement protocols to make sure all attendees were accounted for when travelling to and from the different activations.

Additionally, we manage further engagement activations such as personalised room drops and a mobile concierge desk for the duration of the event.

More than just an accounting conference, Xero always provide an incredible and engaging event. Working with the marketing team and partnering agency INVNT, we worked to produce a truly amazing exhibition space.

Technology onsite was provided by Jomablue, which included registration and session check-in. We also implemented a single-room, multi-tracked session space utilising silent disco-style sectioned seating.

The event was overflowing with activations including a life-size, Miami-style swimming pool ball pit, mini-golf, custom branded basketball court hosted by the Brisbane Bullets as well as multiple novelty food stalls and bars.

Salesforce was a legacy client of Jomablue and we worked to produce registration solutions for the company on a global front. Working on many multi-country roadshows alongside their internal events team.

Their annual world tour conference was the crowning event each year for Salesforce in Sydney, Jomablue worked closely with them to provide a custom registration build and event website wrap for the event and all ancillary events.

We managed registration for the event as well as key touchpoints across multiple locations. We implemented session check-in, exhibition data mapping as well as data downloads of both session content and sponsorship packages.

ROCKCORP CHARITY INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Rockcorp is an international charity program that encourages younger generations to get involved in their respective communities. Working in countries all over the world, they partner with a local brand to fund a series of activations across the host city.

In partnership with Optus, we designed a network of 140 activations and events over a three-month period. These events varied from beach clean-ups, refurbishments of local charities and inner-city activations with local councils.

Aimed at people aged 16-25, we asked attendees to donate four hours of their time, participating in one of these activations and in turn receiving a ticket to an exclusive music festival at Luna Park.

As one of the senior producers on this project, we planned and executed each activation end-to-end as well as producing the final music festival at Luna Park, featuring Wiz Khalifa, Peking Duc, The Veronicas & Raury.

The Cruelty-Free Festival is by far one of my proudest accomplishments, it also is one of the first projects I produced. Working with Animal Liberation, we produced this community event and over the duration of three years grew the event to become a combination of tradeshows, food-festival, live stage shows, educational seminars and activations.

I worked as a senior producer of this event, working on the logistics as a whole, with a specific focus on event activations. In my first year, 2014, I pitched the idea of hosting a small fashion show as part of the event - this was a HUGE feat for me as a young producer. The festival worked mostly on donations, so I planned the show relying on volunteers and contra-based sponsorships with photographers, hosts, MUAs and Models.

I planned, designed and styled the show from scratch and to my delight it was a great success! Using this success we grew the show each year from 2015 to 2016, introducing more activations including a sponsored speed-dating corner, art auction and kid-corner with its own full-day program and supervision.
