WAYSIDE CHAPEL - Charity Xmas Luncheon
Event Production
Working as AP on this project alongside Dean Worland and DRAW Productions. I offered my services for onsite logistics of the grand feast for Christmas Day.
Wayside Chapel is a long-standing pillar in the Darlinghurst community for displaced persons and those who may not have access to basic needs or a sense of family.
This event is the pinnacle of their core values - inviting anyone who may not have anywhere to be on Christmas day to come and join the family to feast on a grand lunch and have a dance outside the Wayside Chapel HQ.
The project, while small in size, is quite a feat - as we close down the entire street to erect a large marquee able to feed 700 people.
The site includes multiple activity stations and a stage where the local community provides a wide variety of entertainment. All of which is completely bumped out by 5 PM, returning the street to normal access.
