BuzzFeed x Tasty: Castello Cheese Experience

Immersive Event Production & Creative Direction

Project Overview

BuzzFeed & Tasty Oz engaged me to produce a branded activation for Castello Cheese, designed to launch their new soft cheese range and inspire new ways of cooking and entertaining with the product.

We developed an immersive sensory dining experience, reimagining “Dining in the Dark” to create a unique, multi-sensory brand interaction for influencers and competition winners. The experience removed sight entirely, allowing taste, smell, sound, and texture to drive engagement with the product.


My Role

As Creative and Activation Producer, I led the concept development, design, and full execution of the event.

Operating as a highly hands-on lead, I managed both the creative direction and production delivery, ensuring the experience translated seamlessly from concept to live environment.


What I Delivered

  • Developed the core creative concept and immersive experience design

  • Collaborated with the chef to produce a 3-course menu and bespoke cocktails centred on Castello products

  • Designed the visual identity and all event collateral

  • Produced and styled a custom entrance photo moment for social capture

  • Managed vendor coordination, logistics, and on-site delivery

  • Delivered a seamless guest journey for influencers and competition winners


Result

This activation demonstrated how immersive experience design can elevate product storytelling, turning a simple product launch into a memorable, shareable event.

By removing sight and focusing on sensory engagement, the experience created a strong emotional and social connection between guests and the brand.
