Senior Event Producer

Project Overview

RockCorps is an international social impact program designed to encourage young people to engage with their communities through volunteer action.

In partnership with Optus, the Australian campaign delivered a large-scale activation program across Sydney, inviting participants aged 16–25 to volunteer four hours of their time supporting community projects.

Participants who completed a volunteer activation received access to an exclusive reward concert, transforming civic engagement into a large-scale youth cultural event.

The campaign culminated in a major live music concert at Luna Park Sydney, featuring international and Australian artists.


My Role

As one of the senior producers on the project, I helped lead the planning and delivery of the campaign’s extensive activation program across Sydney.

Working closely with community partners, councils, and brand stakeholders, our team coordinated a network of volunteer activations that ranged from environmental clean-ups to refurbishment projects for local charities.

Alongside the activation program, I supported the planning and production of the final reward concert, ensuring a seamless transition from the volunteer campaign into the culminating live event.

Impact

The RockCorps x Optus campaign successfully mobilised young people across Sydney to contribute to community initiatives through volunteer action.

Over the course of the campaign, participants engaged in a diverse range of projects supporting environmental initiatives, local charities, and urban community programs.

The campaign culminated in a large-scale reward concert at Luna Park, celebrating participant contributions and reinforcing the link between community engagement and cultural experience.
