Senior Engagement Producer & Digital Event Systems
Project Overview
Working with George P Johnson (GPJ), I supported Oracle across a series of technology conferences and marketing events focused on developer communities, enterprise clients, and partner ecosystems.
These projects combined large-scale conferences with targeted marketing activations designed to support product education, community engagement, and lead generation.
Across multiple events, our team delivered custom event technology ecosystems that integrated registration platforms, CRM systems, and attendee engagement tools to support both operational event delivery and post-event marketing insights.
The work spanned several events in Australia, including Modern Cloud Day, as well as global collaboration with GPJ US on the flagship Oracle OpenWorld conference in San Francisco.
My Role
As Senior Engagement Producer, my role focused on designing and delivering the digital engagement infrastructure supporting Oracle’s events.
This included building custom registration logic, integrating event platforms with Oracle’s CRM ecosystem, and implementing attendee engagement tools that supported both marketing campaigns and on-site event operations.
In addition to managing the technical delivery of these systems, I worked closely with Oracle’s marketing and events teams to support campaign planning, communications workflows, and attendee engagement strategies.
During this period, I also developed expertise in Oracle Eloqua, taking on responsibility for managing the system for Australian events and coordinating campaign deployment with Oracle’s internal teams, including collaboration with the Oracle India marketing operations team.
I was later selected to collaborate with the Oracle US events team and GPJ San Francisco, supporting the digital engagement and registration systems for the global Oracle OpenWorld conference.

Result
The event systems implemented across Oracle’s conferences enabled the seamless management of attendee registration, event communications, and engagement tracking across multiple event formats.
For Modern Cloud Day, the registration system supported the consolidation of seven marketing event streams into a single multi-track conference, allowing Oracle to track attendee behaviour and engagement across sessions and sponsor activations.
At Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco, the registration infrastructure supported 23,000 attendees across multiple locations, including the Moscone Centre and satellite event venues across the city.
These systems enabled Oracle to connect event participation data with its broader marketing ecosystem, strengthening the role of events as a lead generation and customer engagement channel.
