Senior Producer & Guest Experience Lead

Project Overview

Working with MLC in partnership with GPJ Events Agency, our team produced a multi-day partner conference and incentive program held in Cairns, Queensland.

The program brought together key MLC partners for a combination of business conference programming and curated social experiences designed to reward top performers and strengthen relationships across the network.

The event combined a day and a half of conference sessions with a full schedule of social experiences, culminating in a bespoke gala dinner produced in a remote location outside Cairns.

To support the complexity of the program, we delivered a fully integrated digital engagement platform connecting attendee registration, travel logistics, event communications, and daily program updates.


My Role

As Senior Engagement Producer, I led the guest services and attendee engagement components of the event while also contributing to the styling and production of several key social experiences.

Working closely with the client and the wider GPJ production team, my role focused on ensuring that the attendee journey — from registration through travel logistics and on-site experience — was seamless across the entire multi-day program.

This included building the event’s registration ecosystem, managing attendee communications through the event app, and overseeing the guest experience during the event itself.

Alongside the operational components, I also worked with the production team on the creative styling and delivery of the event’s signature social experience: a fully bespoke gala dinner built on a working cane farm outside Cairns.


What I Delivered

  • Registration logic supporting accommodation selection, flights, and ground transfers

  • Attendee engagement and communications strategy across the event lifecycle

  • Daily event communications through push notifications and schedule automation

  • Guest services coordination across conference and social programming

  • Styling and production support for the remote gala dinner event

  • On-site management of guest services and attendee logistics


Impact

The integrated event systems enabled organisers to manage a complex multi-day program combining conference sessions, travel logistics, and social activities for attending partners.

The attendee engagement platform allowed guests to easily navigate the program while providing organisers with visibility over accommodation allocations, transfers, and session participation.

The event culminated in a fully bespoke gala dinner experience produced on a remote cane farm, transforming an agricultural landscape into a complete hospitality venue with staging, lighting, and multiple bar environments.
