Project Overview

Immutacon is an annual global company conference designed to bring together Immutable’s distributed teams for a week of connection, celebration, and forward planning.

The 5-day program combined internal awards, collaborative workshops, and social activations, with a strong focus on fostering relationships across remote teams.

The event was built around a “Mystical Alchemy” theme, transforming raw industrial venues into immersive environments using custom staging, lighting, and spatial design.


My Role

As Lead Producer, I oversaw the end-to-end delivery of the conference, managing both the creative direction and operational execution across multiple venues and event formats.

This included coordinating a complex schedule of business sessions, social events, and city-wide activations.


What I Delivered

  • Managed budgeting, timelines, and full project delivery

  • Sourced and managed multiple venues across Sydney

  • Designed and delivered custom AV, staging, and themed environments

  • Oversaw 8 breakout spaces across 3 venues

  • Produced a week-long social program, including dinners and networking events

  • Delivered a city-wide scavenger hunt activation across Sydney Harbour

  • Managed suppliers, crew, and on-site operations

  • Led client communication and stakeholder alignment


Result

This project highlights the ability to deliver culture-driven internal events at scale, blending structured conference programming with immersive design and social engagement.

Managing multiple venues and event formats required strong coordination, while the thematic approach elevated the experience beyond a traditional corporate conference.
