Digital Event Engagement & Registration Systems

Project Overview

The Xero Accounting Conference is a flagship industry event bringing together accounting professionals, partners, and technology innovators for a multi-day conference experience.

Produced in partnership with the Xero marketing team and creative agency INVNT, the event blended conference programming with large-scale experiential activations designed to engage attendees beyond traditional session formats.

Interactive installations and branded engagement zones were distributed across the venue, encouraging exploration and participation throughout the event environment.


My Role

My role on the project focused on digital engagement infrastructure and attendee management, ensuring that event participation could be tracked, measured, and managed across the conference environment.

Working with event technology partner Jomablue, I supported the delivery of the event’s registration system, session check-in processes, and exhibition management tools.

In addition to attendee registration and reporting systems, I helped design and implement data capture mechanisms across several interactive activations, allowing the event team to collect engagement insights and participant data throughout the experience.

This approach helped transform interactive installations into measurable engagement touchpoints, supporting both operational reporting and post-event marketing insights.

Impact

The digital infrastructure implemented for the event enabled organisers to manage attendee registration, track session participation, and capture engagement data across the conference environment.

By linking attendee participation with experiential activations, the event team was able to gather valuable insights into visitor behaviour and engagement patterns throughout the venue.

This approach supported both operational delivery during the event and improved reporting and analysis following the conference.
